so we’re most definitely looking at a rather costly process for us. she called her insurance company and talked to them this morning. they’ll cover up to $30,000, but only for infertility and you have to prove that you’ve been trying for a minimum of one year. so we’re on our own, but it’s not entirely unexpected obviously. we’ll find out at the consult how much it’s actually going to run us. i suppose if it does take us that long it’ll be a relief to have it paid for, but honestly we’ve got two uteruses (uteri? it’s telling me the spelling is incorrect but i know both are right…). if it takes us that long we may very well switch, although who knows.
please don’t let it take that long.
