we had a great time at the movie last night. we both really liked it, although i remembered why i don’t always enjoy seeing movies in the theatre: i always have to leave at some point to use the restroom. at least i didn’t miss much. i had forgotten, though, that the firefly hadn’t gone with me when i saw the first one, so before the movie started she said, “um, hopefully there’s nothing in that one that’s really important to this one.” luckily there wasn’t.
today we slept in and then ran an errand before heading off to the softball end-of-season banquet. we had a pretty good time, and our team won a trophy for most creative team name which was funny. we hung out at the bar for about four hours and then headed back home to hang out for a little longer with my sister and the new woman she’s sort-of dating. the firefly took the night off, which is nice. i’m actually going to have three nights in a row with her here since she didn’t work overtime this weekend, and that’s awesome.
now i need to go finish up my homework so we can go to bed.
