i ended up calling off of work today. i wanted to spend some more time with my wife, needed to finish a homework assignment, we got a lot of work done on our bathroom remodel, and i went and spent a few hours with my mom. she’s doing much better and doesn’t need someone there all the time, which is good, although it’s better if someone is to help her with things.
the bathroom is coming together pretty quickly, which is awesome. we’ve taken out some of the old wiring and re-routed some of it. we got the shower completely framed in and are ready to frame in the closet and move the door. hopefully we’ll get started on that on wednesday, but tomorrow we’re taking pizza to my parents’ to celebrate my dad’s birthday.
and now i need to go do more homework. math this time. have i mention how badly i suck at math? yeah. i do. i just hope i can pull out a b so i get full reimbursement from work…
