The dart tournament for Firefly’s league was tonight. She was really bummed that she was missing it, but she talked to the team on the phone. They lost pretty early on, which wasn’t entirely unexpected. She did find out that she had 17 low tons and 2 hat tricks for the season, which basically means she had 17 turns where she scored over 100 points (but under 150), and twice when she hit the bull with all three darts in one turn. Pretty cool.
The electrical work is done in the bathroom, although the guys were here working when I got home from work and one of them said something about possibly coming back tomorrow to do one more thing. I’m going to call and schedule the inspection for Friday, although I need to check with my dad and make sure he can be at the house to wait for them to show up since Firefly thinks she may have to work first shift that day. If not my sister can probably do it. She actually lives closer, but she also works third shift so that would mean she’d have to stay up to wait for them and I’m not sure if she’s working Friday night so I’m hesitant to ask her. She usually has Friday off, but she requested off on Saturday because we’re having a big cookout to celebrate Firefly’s birthday and the end of summer, so she may have switched to work Friday instead.
I can’t wait for her to get home tomorrow. I’ve cleaned most of the house, which she will be very happy to come home to and has kept me pretty well distracted. I have an appointment to get my hair cut tomorrow and she’s not sure when they’ll get in, so I may have to send my sister to fetch her. I’ll have her all night, though, since she won’t have to go in to work.
Okay, I think my laundry is done. I should go jump in the shower.
