Firefly had darts last night, and because she’s working both nights this weekend she had the night off. I decided to tag along to hang out with friends and spend some time with her, which was doubly fun because they played at our favorite local bar. They won four of the seven games, so they won the match overall, which is always good.
After they finished we stayed to hang out, and ended up staying after the bar closed (midnight during the week) to watch the rest of the hockey game with our favorite local bar owner and a couple of friends. We headed home and both crashed–and we needed it, especially since we didn’t get home until after 1 in the morning. I had to work this morning and she’s still pretty worn out from being sick, although she’s definitely recovering. I’ve still been a bit sniffly but so far managed to stave off most of the ickiness.
Tomorrow at noon we have the US to see how things are looking, and if everything is good we’ll have an appointment on Sunday for the next try. Keep your fingers crossed!
And now back to the homework.
