good times, good friends

I had a great time last night hanging out with Spider, some other friends I hadn’t seen in a while, and some new people I hadn’t met before. Hopefully now that Spider’s schedule has calmed down and my crazy quarter is over we can find more time to hang out. I still have classes this quarter, but it won’t be nearly as intense or homework heavy, which is nice. She’s going to try to stop by tomorrow when she finishes her shift at work.

Today we went to meet up with Dee and Pia and Pia’s son for a late lunch and lots of game playing. We had a blast–or at least I did. Hopefully we can make it more of a regular get together. The place was a bit more crowded than I would have liked, but it wasn’t as bad as it could have been and it was definitely fun. We seemed to be heading out around the time that the big rush started, so that was good.

Tomorrow is D-day. I’m trying to stay cautiously hopeful, but frankly I’m not feeling as confident after the last four tries. I felt so optimistic the first time, but with each attempt my optimism has gone down. I asked the doc on Friday what we should do if she starts before the consultation, on the off chance that she’d be starting the next course of Clo.mid before our appointment. If the appointment happens we’ll be talking about what changes to make med-wise, and if she starts we don’t want to lose the next month because of timing. He gave her a prescription for another round of the Clo.mid and said that even if we do switch up, it would be better to start it and take it for a day if necessary since it wouldn’t hurt anything, rather than completely lose the chance. If this try doesn’t work she’d likely start that Saturday (assuming her timing stays regular, which so far it has), which means she wouldn’t be starting it until the day of the consult and would make it a moot point, but I’d rather be prepared.
