I suppose you know you’re really sick when your boss suggests (more than once) that you consider leaving early–especially when you have work that has to be finished by the end of the day that he’d get stuck with. I did stay to finish things up and ended up leaving about half an hour early. I’m trying to decide what to do about tomorrow. I would really love to have an extra day on the weekend to try and recover and I’m still feeling pretty bad. Then again, it’s definitely our slow day so all I would be doing is catching up on paperwork and filing, and depending on what happens over the weekend I may need to take a little time off to go to the consult on Monday. I don’t know. I’ll probably wait and see how I feel when the alarm goes off in the morning.
In good news, I got my math exam back from my professor today via email. I got a perfect score! I’m so happy I can’t even say. That means that I am only two points off of a perfect score overall for the quarter without even counting the extra credit assignments I did, and the lowest homework and quiz grades get dropped at the end of the quarter. I’m feeling really good about it, and honestly it’s been interesting. I really don’t do so well with the algebraic math classes, but this whole voting methods/apportionment stuff of the first section was right up my alley. Hopefully the rest of the quarter is as interesting–and goes as well!
