I had a pretty good day today. The weather was much warmer than it’s been and I’m definitely feeling better; just a bit of a cough and some minor stuffiness left, but nothing like before. Of course now my mom has it and was feeling pretty miserable today, which is no fun. I’m feeling a bit guilty that I might have passed it on to her since I have lunch with her every day. Hopefully she gets over it quickly.
We had tickets to the hockey game tonight, but Firefly couldn’t go. It’s hard for her to go on weeknights because we rarely have time to get out of there and get her home with enough of a cushion to get to work, so Bean went with me instead. I haven’t really seen her much lately so it was fun hanging out, and it was a great game. It would have been nice if Firefly could have gone with me, but we have tickets for another game on Friday that we’ll be going to and I’m really looking forward to it.
I also realized today that I have a long weekend coming up because of the holiday on Monday, which is fabulous. I’m sure I’ll spend a good part of the day doing schoolwork, but it will be so nice to be able to sleep in and be home in bed when Firefly gets home from work.
I’m feeling really good about my math class. I got 11/12 on the quiz this week, and 4/4 on the homework. All of my grades so far have been well above the class average, which is great. I really want to keep it up so I can get a good grade overall. My last few math classes have really affected my overall G.PA, so it would be nice to finally have one that isn’t such a struggle. I’ve still maintained an honors-level G.PA overall, and this will help to keep it that way!
