It was a beautiful day, so Firefly and I decided to take advantage of it and go out for a round of disc golf. Neither one of us did great, although I played better than I have in the past. I’m definitely improving, and it’s a fun way to get out and get some exercise and fresh air.
We also worked a bit more on the bathroom. Well, Firefly did. We tried to work on the toilet and I just got frustrated, then lost a drill bit down a tiny hole while I was trying to do something else. Firefly got the top of the vanity and the holes for the sinks cut. I eventually gave up and decided to clean the kitchen instead. My dad is coming tomorrow afternoon to try and get the toilet seated properly, and hopefully we can get a bit more done on the vanity. We’re having a little party on Saturday for my graduation and birthday, as well as Bean’s birthday, and it would be really nice to have two fully functioning bathrooms.
We made a yummy dinner of spicy breaded chicken, baked potatoes and broccoli in cheese sauce. We spent the rest of the evening watching a couple of shows we had recorded and cuddling while Firefly rested before work. I helped her pack her lunch and have been doing some laundry, and now I’m going to sweep and mop the kitchen before I head off to bed. It’s back to work in the morning for me.
