Thanks everyone for your wonderful comments on the U/S! We’re off celebrating an early Ea.ster with Firefly’s parents, so this will be a brief update.
I’m having a good time hanging with the out-laws and just generally getting away. We showed them the pictures of the U/S and they were excited. We’ve spent quite a bit of time chatting with them about things baby-related (and not), and they’ve both been asking lots of questions which is great. I’m so happy they really seem excited about being grandparents again, even if they don’t always understand our relationship. They’re trying, and they’re really showing how much they love Firefly, and that is so, so important.
Tomorrow we’ll be heading home, stopping by Firefly’s cousins’ house to visit and share our news with them on the way. I can’t wait!
