I’m thankful we made it through our first completely binkie-free week unscathed. We’d been down to only nighttime use for a while now, but at Monkey’s 2-year check up last Monday the pediatrician said that we should cut them entirely (and really we should have done it sooner). So we did. Literally. We cut off all the ends Monday evening and while he still wants to hold the empty handles, after the first rather confusing night for him he seems unbothered by the lack of them.
