184: 130

I thought that the time change, what with it going backward so that what was 10pm is now 9pm, but what is now 9pm should–hypothetically at least–still FEEL like 10pm to someone who has absolutely no concept whatsoever of time, might have meant that Monkey would be nice and sleepy and Firefly might actually be able to put him into his crib before she left for work, especially since he only had one short nap (although that last part hasn’t been too unusual of late). Was my thinking backward? Because there was no such luck, at least not in this house. In fact, it may have had the opposite result as usually he’s at least cuddling on the couch for his last bottle and some snuggles before being put in his crib. Tonight? Oh, no. No interest in that at all:

The time change always screws us up. PBS was tired early this morning, well before nap, but didn’t seem to keen on bed at first. We try and keep her up a little later so she will sleep in a bit and settle into the change better. I hope Monkey went down easily.

I figured it would, but I thought it’d be the other way around this time: falling asleep early and then waking up well before I was ready. Lol! He didn’t go to sleep too much after this, actually.

Maybe if he was able to read the longest run on sentence that I’ve ever seen he might’ve been a little more inclined to nod off. Lucky for me I’m probably going to nod off soon anyways.
